The World of Clifford Ross
Slipcase and companion book to Ross'sHurricane Waves, to accompany a landmark exhibition at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
Seen & Imagined offers the first comprehensive survey of Ross's work, and is the first art book to offer an augmented reality 3D “pop up” experience, via an app and a smartphone. The slipcase is wrapped in one of Ross's LED waves, and a series of interior gatefolds allow "deep dives" into extreme details of selected images.
Design oversight spanned initial image editing and sequencing to the press check at Meridian Printing, Rhode Island.

Logo, letter-press business cards and stationery, uniforms, and signage for a Brooklyn-based design-and-build company. The lines of the logo drawing, which form "PW," were inspired by floor plans and by the intricate architectural details in historic brownstone buildings.

In 1953, Cuba had 694 cinemas and theaters. Havana alone had 134, more than New York or Paris. In 2014, documentary photographer Carolina Sandretto set out to find and photograph, with a 1950s’ medium-format camera, the remaining cinemas from that golden era. This book is the visual document of her journey.

Nathlie Provosty & Robert Kelly
The Color Mill presents a collaboration between artist Nathlie Provosty and poet Robert Kelly—Kelly wrote the included texts in response to a series of Provosty's drawings. The jacket text is laser cut to reveal the gradient-printed book cover below, and the edges are foil-stamped red.

For this hardcover monograph, published on the occasion of Provosty's solo show at the Nathalie Karg Gallery in New York, a painting detail, highlighted by a spot varnish, was wrapped around the case.

The Cat Photographer
Walter Chandoha is the forefather and an early master of animal phototography. For this volume of Chandoha's colorful studio portraits of cats, images were laid out in a rainbow sequence. A clothbound cover with tipped-on image and iridescent foil stamp, and multi-colored endpapers, complete the package.
